Each applicant for examination shall pay a fee before said application shall be accepted by the Board. The amount of the fee shall be as set from time to time by resolution of the Board of Trustees. In the event the applicant fails to pass the required examination, there shall not be any refund of said fee or any portion thereof. A maximum of two examinations will be given for said fee. Additional examinations shall be in an amount as set from time to time by resolution of the Board of Trustees.

All licenses issued to individuals whose last names begin with the letters A through K shall expire on December 31 in even years, All licenses issued to individuals whose last names begin with the letters L through Z shall expire on December 31 in odd years. Applications for renewal of licenses shall be filed during the month of December of the year in which they expire with the Examining Board, together with such verification of the electrical work performed under the authority of the prior license as the Board may require to determine the continuing competency of the licensee. The fee for license renewals shall be in an amount as set from time to time by resolution of the Board of Trustees and shall be payable at the time of filing the application.

Any licensee who fails to properly file his application for renewal on or before December 31 of the year in which it expires shall be required to file a new original application and pay a fee in an amount as set from time to time by resolution of the Board of Trustees and be reexamined.
A. 
A person who successfully passes an examination may register the license in his own name, if operating a business for himself, or in the name of a firm or corporation that he is representing. He may not represent more than one person, firm or corporation at any one time and he must be active in the management and supervision of the electrical work, business or maintenance of the person, firm or corporation he represents.
B. 
Changes in the registered name of the licensed master electrician will be made upon filing a new application with the Board accompanied by the new license fee, new application card and, in the case of master electrician, a new bond. At this time, the old license certificate shall be surrendered.
C. 
Changes in address will be made upon written notification of such change without any charge.
