No person shall maintain, use or operate a coal- or wood-burning stove in any building or structure within the village unless an inspection of such stove installation shall have been made and a certificate of inspection and approval issued by the Superintendent of Buildings. All such stove installations shall conform to the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code. No fee shall be charged for such inspection or the issuance of such certificate of inspection and approval.
