The official workweek of the Borough shall be
five days, 40 hours per week. The governing body, however, may reduce
the hours of work required of employees in specific departments to
not less than 35 hours per week.
The governing body shall set forth the hours
of work for each department, including the amount of time that shall
be allowed for lunch. In specialized departments, employees may be
scheduled on a two-week basis, provided the total hours are equal
to twice the normal workweek of 40 or 35 hours.
