The Building Inspector shall administer any direction by the Zoning Board of Appeals or any requirement of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Harrison[1] for the erection or maintenance by a landowner of screening facilities upon his property.
Editor's Note: See Ch. 235. Zoning.
Upon failure of a landowner to erect, replace, repair or maintain fences, trees, plantings, shrubbery or other screening as so directed or required, the Building Inspector shall deliver written notice thereof to the owner of record of such land. The notice shall require the landowner to remedy the failure within 30 days and shall include or have annexed thereto a copy of this chapter.
In the event that the landowner does not remedy the failure noticed in accordance with § 195-2 hereof, the Building Inspector shall apply to the Town Board, on no less than 10 days' notice to such landowner, for an order authorizing and directing him to erect, replace, repair or maintain such fences, trees, planting, shrubbery or other screening.
