A.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this Part 2, except the provisions of § 705-31A, shall upon conviction thereof in a summary proceeding, be sentenced to pay a fine not in excess of $100 to be paid to the use of the County with costs of prosecution, or to undergo imprisonment in the County Jail for not more than 30 days, or both.
B.
Any person violating any of the provisions of § 705-31A or B of this Part 2 shall, upon conviction thereof in a summary proceeding, be sentenced to pay a fine of $5, to be paid to the use of the County, plus costs of prosecution, or in default thereof to undergo imprisonment in the County Jail for not more than five days; provided, however, that is any person receiving a ticket for such violation shall, within one hour of the time of violation indicated on said ticket deposit said ticket together with a courtesy fine of $2 in a "Courtesy Fine Box," provided by the County in the vicinity of the metered parking area, such person shall incur no further penalty and no information shall be filed.
C.
Each violation hereunder shall constitute a separate
offense subject to the penalties outlined in the preceding section.
