Every member of the Rescue Squad shall in each and every year
perform at least 40% duty, to be comprised of actual recorded attendance
and rendering the rescue service at not less than 40% of all calls
and/or extra duty. A record shall be kept of such attendance and duty
by the Chief and a report given to the Borough Clerk annually.

A. Driver qualifications for R-7 shall include:
(1) Must have a valid New Jersey driver's license.
(2) Must be 21 years of age or older.
(3) Must hold a Defensive Driving Card.
(4) Must pass equipment test of R-7.
(5) Must have 10 hours of on-the-road training.
(6) Driver of Rescue 9 for a period of one year.
B. Driver qualifications for R-9 shall include:
(1) Must have a valid New Jersey driver's license.
(2) Must be 20 years of age or older.
(3) Must hold a Defensive Driving Card.
(4) Must pass equipment test for R-9.
(5) Must have 10 hours of on-the-road training.
(6) Member for a minimum of two years.
Driver must be a regular member at the time of driver training.
Two year member requirement will be composed of both probationary
and regular status.
C. After all qualifications have been met and with the approval of the
Board of Rescue Officers, this person will become a probationary driver
for five calls. After this time, the Officers will review any reports
and qualifications and render a final decision.

No member shall drive any rescue vehicle except the regularly
appointed drivers unless directed to do so by an officer or the Chief,
and then only in case of emergency.

No apparatus shall be permitted to leave the confines of the
Borough in case of a call in an adjacent or neighboring municipality,
except with the notification of the Chief or, in his absence, a Rescue
Officer. One rescue truck must remain in the Borough at all times.
The rescue truck remaining in the Borough shall maintain a standby
driver. The Rescue Commissioner to be notified by dispatch.
