Borough of Paramus, NJ Article II Leaf Recycling Trust Account

§ 379-8 Account created.

There will be created in the Borough of Paramus a Leaf Recycling Trust Account to serve as a respository for funds collected from the sale of the processed leaves.

§ 379-9 Use of deposits.

Moneys deposited in the trust account will used to defray the cost of composting and processing of leaves and the sale and distribution of the composted product.

§ 379-10 Sale and distribution of processed leaves.

The sale and distribution of the processed leaves shall be administered by the Board of Shade Tree and Parks Commissioners.

§ 379-11 Administration.

The trust account shall be administered by the Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer of the Borough of Paramus.

§ 379-12 Compilation of operational costs.

The Board of Shade Tree and Parks Commissioners shall compile a list of all operational costs for payment from all sources of leaf composting, processing and distribution of the leaves and the leaf mulch product for the Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer of the Borough of Paramus.

§ 379-13 Payments for processed leaf products.

Payment for the processed leaf product shall be in the form of a certified check payable to the Borough of Paramus at the time the product is picked up.
