Within any GOV Zone, only County and State governmental offices
and facilities, including educational facilities shall be permitted.
All other uses shall be prohibited. County and State governmental
entities include all governmental subdivisions and authorities created
thereby.
All those accessory uses normally associated with the principal
use shall be permitted in the Government Zone, including recreational
associated with educational use.
No specific requirements are established, but site plan recommendations
may be made by the Land Use Board in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:55D-31.
If the public use of any area in the GOV Zone District is discontinued
and the property reverts to private ownership or use, no new use shall
be established until another zone district is applied to the property
by the governing body, following the submission of a recommendation
by the Land Use Board.
