A code regulating the installation, maintenance,
repair and control of the plumbing of buildings and connection thereof
with outside sewers, cesspools or other receptacles and regulating
the practice of plumbing and the issuance of licenses to practice
plumbing and amendments thereto dated April 29, 1966, and June 17,
1968, and fixing penalties for violations is hereby established pursuant
to the provisions of Chapter 275, P.L. 1948 (N.J.S.A. 26:3-31.1 et
seq.). A copy of said code was annexed and made a part of the adopting
ordinance without the inclusion of the text thereof therein.
Said code established and adopted by this article
is described and commonly known as the "Plumbing Code of New Jersey
(Revised 1964)" with amendments, and the required number of copies
have been placed on file in the office of the Board of Health.
Subsection 7.17.4, Table of Minimum Facilities,
of the Plumbing Code of New Jersey (Revised 1964) is hereby augmented
as follows:
A. All restaurants, cafeterias, luncheonettes, taverns
and cocktail lounges shall provide minimum toilet and lavatory facilities
in accordance with the following schedule:

B. All public places and commercial establishments serving
the public shall provide at least minimal free toilet room facilities.
Where toilet rooms are locked, the key must be made conveniently available
for any patron requesting its use.
In connection with the provisions of this article
and the code hereby established and adopted as a part hereof, the
following fees shall be charged and received:
A. For the examination of any applicant for license as
a master plumber: $50.
B. For the issuance and annual renewal of a license as
master plumber: $10.
C. For the filing of plans for a proposed plumbing work:
$2.
D. For the issuance of a permit for a proposed plumbing
construction or alteration:
(1) For up to five fixtures: $10.
(2) An additional fee per fixture is hereby established
for each fixture above five proposed in the approved plan for construction
or alteration of: $4.
E. For the issuance of a permit for the replacement of
a plumbing fixture: $3.
F. For each reinspection of plumbing work caused by the
failure of the licensee to comply with the provisions of the code
or permit issued: $10.
