All exterior property areas shall be maintained
in a clean and sanitary condition, free from accumulation of rubbish,
garbage, refuse and abandoned motor vehicles.
All exterior property areas shall be kept free
from species of weeds or plant growth which are noxious or detrimental
to the public health. All weed growth over the height of 12 inches
shall be cut and raked.
All premises shall be graded and maintained
so as to prevent the accumulation of stagnant water thereon.
Every exterior wall shall be free of holes,
breaks, loose or rotting boards or timbers and any other conditions
which might admit rain or dampness to the interior portions of the
walls. All exterior surfaces must be kept in good appearance and be
painted in accordance with acceptable standards; and all siding must
be maintained and kept in good repair.
Every foundation must be weathertight and watertight
and kept in good repair and maintenance. Retaining walls and fences
shall be maintained in good repair and painted where required. Roofs
shall be structurally sound and weathertight so as not to permit dampness
to enter the structure.
Every window sash shall be fully supplied with
glass window panes or a substitute approved by the Coordinator of
Community Improvements, which are without open cracks or holes, as
provided by the uniform construction codes. Every door shall be so
constructed and maintained in relation to the adjacent wall construction
so as to be weathertight, and such doors, if required, shall be painted
to preserve the finish of the door.
Where driveways are installed or required, such
driveways shall be free of holes and cracks and shall be maintained
in good condition.
