A. 
The Town Board may, from time to time, on its own motion or on petition or on recommendation of the Planning Board or the Zoning Board of Appeals after public notice and hearing, amend, supplement, change, modify or repeal this chapter, pursuant to the provisions of the Town Law applicable thereto.
B. 
The Town Board by resolution adopted at a stated meeting shall fix the time and place of a public hearing on the proposed amendments and cause to be given at least 10 days' notice of the time and place of such hearing in a paper of general circulation in the Town.
In accordance with the General Municipal Law of New York State § § 239-1 and 239-m, all proposed zoning regulations or any amendment thereof which would change the district classification of or the regulations applying to real property lying within areas defined by the aforementioned section and of proposed special use permits or variances affecting lands or buildings within the defined areas shall be referred to the County Planning Agency of Saratoga County for review and comment prior to final action by the appropriate Town body.
The New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code, as it may be from time to time amended, is adopted by the Town of Malta and incorporated herein and made a part hereof. Any violation of the Building Code is a violation of this chapter. Any violation of the Building Code may be enforced by the same manner as any other violation of this chapter.
