Each member of the Board of Education shall
receive as compensation the sum of $4,000 per year, payable quarterly.

Each member of the Board of Public Works, exclusive
of the Mayor, shall receive as compensation the sum of $2,000 per
year, payable quarterly.

The Board of Public Works shall elect and employ a public works inspector, a civil engineer with a bachelor of science degree from an accredited school or a professional civil engineer duly certified as such by the state, who shall work directly under the City Engineer and represent the Board of Public Works and the City Engineer in the supervision and control of construction preparation and maintenance of all records of encumbrances in public ways as outlined in §§
285-7 to
285-20 of the City Code.

A. The Department of Public Works shall develop a comprehensive
list of stormwater management locations that should be investigated
for possible remediation. A quarterly report shall be prepared detailing
locations to be investigated, status of investigations and recommendations
for remediation.
B. Standards shall be developed by the Board of Public
Works, and adopted with amendments if necessary, by the Planning Board
with regard to sanding and salting on public and private property
in the Water Supply Protection District.
