[HISTORY: Adopted by the Township Committee of the Township of Westampton
3-6-1989 by Ord. No. 2-1989. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The Township Committee hereby establishes the office of the Chief Financial
Officer. The Township Committee shall appoint a duly qualified individual
to serve on a full- or part-time basis as set forth in the resolution of appointment
of the Township Committee. The individual so appointed shall be a certified
municipal finance officer as defined by law.
The powers and duties of the Chief Financial Officer shall be those
powers and duties prescribed by P.L. 1947, c. 151,[1] as the same may be amended from time to time, and the rules and
regulations promulgated thereunder.
