For the purpose of promoting the public health,
safety, morals and general welfare of the community, the City of Hornell
is hereby divided into the following types of districts:
A. Residence districts as follows: R-1, R-2 and R-3.
B. Business districts as follows: B-1 and B-2.
C. Industrial districts as follows: I-1 and 1-2.
Said districts are bounded and defined as shown
on a map entitled "Zoning Map, City of Hornell, New York," which,
with all explanatory matter thereon, is hereby made a part of this
chapter.
