Town of Elsmere, DE Chapter 184 Satellite Dish Antennas

§ 184-1 Maximum size.

All satellite dish antennas installed within the Town of Elsmere shall be no greater in size than one meter (39.37 inches) in diameter.

§ 184-2 Satellite dish antennas in front yards.

All satellite dish antennas installed in the front yard of any residence or business property must be securely attached to the residence or building.

§ 184-3 Preexisting satellite dish antennas.

All satellite dish antennas installed within the Town of Elsmere prior to the enactment of this chapter are not subject to the provisions of this chapter unless the preexisting satellite dish antenna is moved or altered.

§ 184-4 Violations and penalties.

Any person violating the provisions of this chapter and who shall fail to comply with any notice or order issued by the Code Enforcement Officer relating to the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not less than $100 nor more than $200 for each violation thereof. Each day that each violation continues shall be deemed a further offense punishable by a further sum of $100 per day, per violation. The imposition of a penalty for any violation of this chapter shall not excuse the violation nor permit it to continue.
