[HISTORY: Adopted by the Representative Town Meeting of the Town of Branford 6-13-1961. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The annual Town report of the Town of Branford as required by the General Statutes of Connecticut, Revision of 1958, as amended, shall be published and ready for distribution not later than the first day of January each year.
Said annual Town report shall be edited so as to meet the requirements of Sections 7-406, 7-394, 10-224, 12-167 and 19-74 of said General Statutes, together with any other provision of the statutes appertaining thereto, and all other reports of Town officials, departments and agencies considered to be informative and of general public interest shall be included in said annual Town report.

All reports, financial or otherwise, of Town officials, departments and agencies for the preceding fiscal year shall be filed with the Clerk of the Board of Finance not later than the 31st day of July of each year.
All records of commitments made by Town officials, departments and agencies for the preceding fiscal year shall be filed in the office of the Selectmen not later than the day following such official's, department's or agency's regular July meeting but in any event not later than the 15th day of July of each year, in order that the appropriations made for such commitments may be properly encumbered.
Records of commitments received after the 15th day of July of each year will be honored only as against appropriations made for the current fiscal year.
