[Adopted 12-18-1984 as § 2-9 of the 1984 Code]
There may be a Public Works Supervisor appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the Council, to serve for a term of one year.
A. 
The Public Works Supervisor shall be responsible for:
(1) 
The safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the sanitary sewerage system.
(2) 
The care and maintenance of all municipal building and Borough utilities and the procurement of all necessary supplies needed to maintain them properly.
(3) 
The maintenance of all Borough boardwalks, including any street-end platforms on the beach, bay or lakefronts.
(4) 
The implementation of the Ocean County Mosquito Control Program as it affects the Borough.
B. 
He shall also carry out such other duties or services as directed by the Mayor or Council.
