The Village Board of Trustees may from time
to time amend, supplement, change, modify or repeal this chapter,
including the Zoning Map, by proceeding in the manner provided in
this article.
When a change of zone is made to permit the
use of property for a particular project, in the event of the abandonment
of such project, the Village Board of Trustees may, after public hearing,
restore the property to its former zoning district or such other district
as it may determine. The failure to obtain building permits within
one year of the date of change of zone, or the failure to complete
the project within two years after the issuance of building permits,
may be deemed to be an abandonment.
