Town of Yarmouth, MA Article I General Regulations

§ 214-1 Speeds.

A. The speed limit shall be six miles per hour except in designated water-ski and unrestricted areas.

B. No wake is permitted in restricted areas.

§ 214-2 Waterskiing.

Waterskiing shall be permitted in Lewis Bay, Bass River Salt Boxes' area and Follins Pond.

§ 214-3 Pollution.

A. No oil or other petroleum products shall be dumped or pumped overboard in the harbors or waterways.

B. No untreated sewage, rubbish, debris, garbage or dead fish shall be discharged or dumped overboard into Yarmouth waters.

§ 214-4 Berthing.

All vessels entering Town of Yarmouth waters are subject to the direction of the Harbormaster Department, which should be consulted before anchoring or tying up to any of the Town-owned facilities or moorings.

§ 214-5 Negligent operations.

No person shall operate any motorboat or any other vessel in a reckless or negligent manner so as to endanger the life, safety or property of any other person
