It is resolved by the Mayor and Council of the borough, pursuant to
the powers vested in the municipality in accordance with the Interlocal Services
Act, N.J.S.A. 40:8A-1 et seq., that an agreement be entered into between the
Township of Sparta and the Borough of Franklin to provide for the dispatching
services for the Franklin Police Department, Fire Department and Ambulance
Squad in accordance with the terms of the contract, a copy of which has been
filed with the Clerk of the Borough of Franklin and is open to public inspection
at the office of the Borough Clerk immediately after the introduction of this
chapter.
Upon final adoption of this chapter, the Mayor and Clerk shall be authorized
to execute the above referred to contract, and certified copies shall be forwarded
to the Township of Sparta.
