There is hereby established a Transportation
Board consisting of nine members, all of whom shall be residents of
the Township.
The Transportation Board shall have the following
powers:
A. To act as the coordinating agency of the Township
on commuter and public transportation matters and as a liaison between
local commuter and public transportation needs and regional, state,
and federal agencies administering to those needs.
B. To recommend to the Township Committee certain transportation
needs of the citizens of the Township by means of reports obtained
from research, studies, and compiled data.
C. To recommend to the Planning Board plans and programs
for inclusion in the Township Master Plan relating to commuter and
public transportation.
