The Fire Department of the City shall consist
of the following:
B. Three Deputy Chiefs, Battalion Chiefs, or Captains
in such combination as is approved by the Police and Fire Commission
from time to time in accordance with the budget authorized by the
Common Council.

D. Ten driver operators or firefighters in such combination
thereof, if deemed necessary by the Fire Chief in accordance with
the budget authorized by the Common Council.

E. Such
additional personnel as may be authorized by the Common Council from
time to time.

Every firefighter shall have the police power
and duties delegated to him by Wisconsin law and such other duties
as prescribed by the Fire Chief.
Whenever the Chief or officer in charge determines,
the Fire Department, or any part thereof, shall answer any call outside
the City. The members of the Fire Department while responding to or
attending or returning from any such call shall be deemed to be employees
of the City.

A. Composition.
The Bureau of Fire Prevention shall be operated under the supervision
of the Fire Chief. He shall assign Fire Department personnel to the
Bureau and may secure, with Mayoral approval, such temporary technical
expert assistance outside the Department as necessary to enforce the
regulations of this section.
B. Duties.
The Bureau shall:
(1) Enforce these regulations and all other laws and ordinances relating
to the following:
(b) The storing and use of flammables.
(c) The maintenance of exits from all buildings and structures in which
persons live, sleep, work or congregate.
(d) The investigation of the cause, origin and circumstances of fires.
(2) Perform such other duties as are set forth in this section and as
required by all other laws and ordinances and lawful orders of the
Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services and any additional
duties prescribed by the Chief.

A. Fees for basic life support ("BLS"), mileage, oxygen and supplies
shall be as provided by the current fee schedule on file with the
City Clerk.
B. Any person, firm, contractor, or corporation requiring rescue services
beyond the capacity of the Fire Department shall reimburse the City
for personnel costs, equipment and supplies, and outside rescue services.
These services include, but are not limited to, services required
for confined space rescue, deep tunnel rescue, high/low angle rescue,
the handling of hazardous material, and any services requiring use
of non-Fire-Department persons, firms, contractors, corporations or
any other non-Fire-Department entities.
