1965 Code (Ch. 5, Art. I, of the 1986 Code)]
A Planning Board, under the provisions of MGL
c. 41, § 81A, is hereby established, such Planning Board
to have all the powers and duties granted by MGL c. 41, § 81A,
and its related sections.
A.
The Planning Board shall consist of seven members,
and the initial appointment shall be made as follows: two members
whose terms shall expire on the first Monday in February 1954; two
members whose term shall expire on the first Monday in February 1955;
one member whose term shall expire on the first Monday in February
1956; one member whose term shall expire on the first Monday in February
1957; one member whose term shall expire on the first Monday in February
1958.
B.
After the expiration of each term, the Mayor shall
annually, in the month of January, appoint members for the term of
five years, expiring on the first Monday in February five years after
the date of the appointment.
