Unless otherwise specified in this section,
the fee for all filings, registrations and other actions performed
by the City Clerk set forth in MGL c. 262, § 34, shall be
$5 for each such filing, registration or other action, whichever is
applicable.
A.
The fee for those actions detailed in Subsections
(27), (31), (34) and (75) of said § 34 of Chapter 262 of
the Annotated Laws of Massachusetts shall be $10.
B.
For furnishing an abstract copy of a registration
voter's card: $5.
C.
For filing certificate of a person conducting business
under any title other than his real name: $20.
D.
For entering notice of intention of marriage and issuing
certificate thereof: $25.
E.
For entering certificate of marriage filed by persons
married out of the commonwealth: $25.
G.
For recording power of attorney: $5 per page, plus
$0.50 for added parties.
H.
For recording certificate of registration granted
to a person to engage in the practice of optometry or issuing a certified
copy thereof: $5.
I.
For recording the name of the owner of a certificate
of registration as a physician or osteopath in the commonwealth: $25.
J.
For recording order granting locations of poles, piers,
abutments or conduits, alterations or transfers thereof, and increase
of number of wires and cable or attachments under the provisions of
MGL c. 166, § 22: $50, and $5 additional for each street
or way included in such order.
K.
For recording deed of lot or plot in a public burial
place or cemetery: $5.
L.
For recording any paper or issuing a copy of any paper
not specifically named herein or within the provisions of § 34
of Chapter 262 of the Annotated Laws of Massachusetts, the fee, unless
otherwise provided, shall be $5 per page. If a paper contains the
names of more than two parties, an additional fee of $0.50 each shall
be charged for indexing the names of additional parties.
M.
For recording the name and address, the date and number
of the certificate issued to a person registered for the practice
of podiatry in the commonwealth: $25.
O.
For issuing a certificate of registration under the
Annotated Laws of Massachusetts, c. 148, § 13: $10.
P.
For researching
more than two records in response to a genealogical request, $10 per
half hour (search of three to seven records); $20 per hour (search
of eight to 12 records).
