There is hereby created the position of Land
Use Coodinator in the Borough of Closter for the purposes of providing
administrative assistance to the Planning Board and Zoning Board of
the Borough and other duties as assigned. He or she shall act as the
Secretary to the Planning Board and Zoning Board and/or as Land Use
Clerk, where those terms are used in this Code and in the New Jersey
Municipal Land Use Act.[1]

This position will be made by annual appointment
by the Mayor and Council.
This position shall be considered full-time
for the purposes of employment and shall be funded as a line item
in the annual operating budget.
Scheduling and reporting for this position shall
rest with the Borough Administrator or his/her designee.
