Unless a contrary intention is clearly expressed
from the context of this chapter, all terms used herein and which
are defined in Chapter 291 of the Laws of New Jersey 1975 (N.J.S.A.
40:55D-1 et seq.) shall be deemed to have the meanings set forth in
the definitions of such terms found in said statute.
For purposes of appeals to the governing body,
the administrative officer shall be deemed to be the Borough Clerk.
For purposes of all matters presented to the Planning Board and the
Board of Adjustment, the administrative officer shall be the Municipal
Administrator of the Borough.
All applications for development filed prior
to the effective date of this chapter may be continued, but any appeals
arising from the decisions made on such applications shall be governed
by the provisions of this chapter.
Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40:55D-90
(Section 81 of P.L. 1975, c. 291) and the provisions of Chapter 115
of the Public Laws of 1976, the Borough Zoning Ordinance, Articles
1 through 10 inclusive and 12 through 16 inclusive, of Ordinance No.
742, together with the Zoning Map and Schedule of Requirements annexed
thereto and Article 11 of Ordinance No. 742, the Site Plan Approval
Ordinance of the Borough, adopted October 14, 1974, as amended and
supplemented, and the Land Subdivision Ordinance of the Borough, Ordinance
No. 548, adopted June 28, 1954, as amended and supplemented, are hereby
readopted, except to the extent inconsistent herewith. Three true
copies of each such ordinance, including the Limiting Schedule and
the Zoning Map are and shall remain on file in the office of the Borough
Clerk and shall be available for public inspection until final action
is taken on this chapter.
