Firearms in parks — See Ch. 197, § 197-3J.
No person or persons, except in the protection of his or their person or property or a police officer in the discharge of his duties, shall fire or discharge or cause to be fired or discharged any pistol, shotgun, rifle or other firearm anywhere within the borough limits of the Borough of Leonia, except for the purpose of military drill under competent supervision or for the purpose of competition or target practice in and upon a firing range approved by the governing body and the Chief of Police of the Borough of Leonia.
Any person or persons violating any of the provisions of this chapter, on conviction thereof, shall be subject to a penalty as set forth in Chapter 1, Article I, General Penalty.
