Bicycle riding at Lindberg School Field — See Ch. 241, Art. I.
No person within the Borough shall lock or store their bicycle in the public right-of-way. This includes but is not limited to sign poles, meters, and trees. All bicycles must be secured to proper bicycle racks.
Bicycles that are unfit for safe operation or operated recklessly may be impounded by the Police Department. All bicycles left in the public right-of-way for more than 24 hours that have not been secured to a proper storage area will be removed and impounded by the Police Department or the Department of Public Works.
All bicycles impounded by the Police Department or the Department of Public Works will be kept for 30 days from the day of their impoundment. The owner of the bicycle must pick up their bicycle with documentation that proves ownership within the thirty-day time period. Any bicycle that is not picked up within 30 days shall be considered abandoned and will be placed for public auction.
