The Village Board of the Village of Pleasant Prairie does hereby
ordain and establish a citizen Board of Review.
The Board of Review of the Village shall consist of five citizen
members appointed to five-year terms by the Village President with
the approval of the Village Board. Alternate members may be appointed
to serve on the Board of Review when standing members are removed
or unable to serve for any reason. Initial appointments shall be for
one, two, three, four and five years and annually thereafter, with
terms effective May 1. The Village Clerk shall act as the Clerk of
the Board and shall keep accurate records of all its proceedings.

The Board shall have the powers and duties prescribed in § 70.47,
Wis. Stats. The Board shall also adhere to the most recent version
of the Pleasant Prairie Board of Review Rules and Procedures.
Each Board member shall receive a maximum per diem of $125 for
each full day. Any time less than eight hours per day shall be prorated.
Board of Review proceedings and appeals shall be as governed
by Chs. 70 and 74, Wis. Stats., including, without limitation by enumeration
herein, § 70.47, Wis. Stats., as from time to time amended.
Whenever the Director of Assessment Services, in the performance
of his or her duties, requests and obtains income and expense information
pursuant to § 70.47(7)(af), Wis. Stats., or any successor
statute thereto, then such income and expense information that is
provided to the Director of Assessment Services shall be held by the
Director of Assessment Services on a confidential basis, except, however,
that said information may be revealed to and used by persons in the
discharge of duties imposed by law; in the discharge of duties imposed
by office, including but not limited to use by the Director of Assessment
Services in performance of official duties of the Department of Assessment
Services and use by the Board of Review in performance of its official
duties; or pursuant to order of a court. Income and expense information
provided to the Director of Assessment Services under § 70.47(7)(af),
Wis. Stats., unless a court determines that it is inaccurate, is,
per § 70.47(7)(af), Wis. Stats., not subject to the right
of inspection and copying under § 19.35(1), Wis. Stats.
