[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Alexandria Bay 5-19-1992 as L.L. No. 7-1992. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The Board of Trustees of the Village of Alexandria Bay has determined that the uncontrolled use of Village streets, sidewalks, rights-of-way, parks or public places for public assemblages presents a potential hazard to the health, safety and welfare of Village residents by prohibiting or impeding the orderly flow of pedestrian and vehicular traffic for emergency, business and personal matters. In order to protect the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the Village of Alexandria Bay, this chapter establishes a means of controlling and regulating certain public assemblages which might otherwise prohibit or impede the orderly flow of pedestrian and vehicular traffic within the Village.
