It shall be lawful for any authorized organization, as defined in § 476
of Article 14-G of the General Municipal Law, upon obtaining the required
license, to conduct the game of bingo within the territorial limits of the
Town of Putnam Valley, subject to the provisions of this chapter, Article
14-G of the General Municipal Law and Article 19-B of the Executive Law and
the following restrictions.
No person, firm, association, corporation or organization, other than
an authorized organization licensed under the provisions of this chapter,
shall be permitted to conduct such games.
The entire net proceeds of any game shall be exclusively devoted to
the lawful purposes of the organization permitted to conduct such games.
No single prize and no series of prizes on any one occasion shall exceed
the amounts set forth in § 479 of the General Municipal Law.
No person, except a bona fide member of any such organization, shall
participate in the management or operation of any such game.
Any person who shall violate this article is guilty of a violation and,
upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed $250
or imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
