In the interests of maintaining close communication between the Select Board and the Commission, the Select Board is requested to forward copies of traffic data, complaints, etc., to the Commission. Such data, which the Select Board indicates should be the subject of study or other action, will be assigned priority within the Commission.
Certain recommendations by the Commission, if approved and/or adopted by the Select Board, may cause an amendment to be made to the existing Rules and Order of Traffic Regulation of the Town of Dalton. It shall be incumbent upon the Commission to forward the necessary forms for approval of such amendment to the Massachusetts Highway Department. Subsequent to state approval, copies must be forward to the follows:
A. 
Select Board: one copy.
B. 
Central Berkshire District Court: one copy.
C. 
Berkshire County Juvenile Court: one copy.
D. 
Dalton Police Department: five copies.
E. 
Traffic Commission: seven copies.
The date the MHD approval is received by the Commission shall constitute the date of change as affected by the amendment of said schedules contained in the Traffic Rules and Orders.
