Under the provisions of MGL c. 90, § 18,
the following special traffic regulations shall apply to the private
ways and/or parking areas on the grounds of Wahconah Regional High
School:
A. No parking (fire lane): beginning at a point on the
west side of the circular roadway entrance (reference point: catch
basin) to a point 628 feet east to curb ending. "No parking" shall
be in effect at all times. This zone shall be indicated by appropriate
signs.
B. No parking (fire lane): west side of driveway on east
end of school building, from beginning of this driveway to a point
196 feet south. "No parking" shall be in effect at all times. This
zone shall be indicated by appropriate signs.
C. No parking (fire lane): driveway located at the west
end of the Regional High School building, which driveway beginning
and extending north/south from the main circular driveway in front
of the school.
D. Tow-away zones: The two no-parking zones described in Subsections
A and
B shall be tow-away zones, and shall be so indicated; vehicles in violation to be towed away at the owner's expense.
E. Enforcement. The Police Department of the Town of
Dalton shall be responsible for the enforcement of these regulations.
Citation shall be at the discretion of the Department.
Under the provisions of MGL c. 90, § 18,
the following special traffic regulations shall apply to the private
ways and/or parking areas on the grounds of the River Run Apartment
Complex:
A. Parking prohibited. Only those vehicles bearing a
registration plate and/or windshield placard, as issued by the Registry
of Motor Vehicles, denoting the use of such vehicle for operation/transportation
by and for handicapped persons, shall be allowed in parking spaces
so signed and/or marked for such purpose.
B. Temporary use of space prohibited. The intermittent
and/or temporary use of handicap parking space, by vehicles without
the proper identifying plates/placards, is prohibited.
C. Space identification. It shall be the responsibility
of the Berkshire Housing Service, Inc. to designate, sign and/or mark
those areas as reserved for handicap parking.
D. Enforcement.
(1) The Police Department of the Town of Dalton shall
be responsible for enforcement of this regulation.
(2) Enforcement procedure on these premises, other than
that necessary to meet this regulation, is neither expressed nor implied.
E. Citation of offenders shall be at the discretion of
the Police Department.
Under the provisions of MGL c. 90, § 18,
the following special traffic regulations shall apply to the private
ways and/or parking areas on the grounds of Nessacus Regional Middle
School:
A. No parking fire lane: to extend around the entire
school on the school side of the driveway. No parking in this area
shall be in affect at all times. This zone shall be indicated by appropriate
signage.
B. Handicap parking: There are designated six handicap
parking areas in the front of the school area that are designated
by the appropriate signage and markings.
C. Enforcement: The Dalton Police Department shall be
responsible for the enforcement of these regulations. Citations shall
be issued at the discretion of the Department.
