The following terms whenever used in this chapter shall have the meanings as hereinafter set forth unless the context or subject matter otherwise requires it, to wit:
CONTAINER or REFRIGERATOR
Any box, chest, case, container or similar enclosure which is large enough to accommodate a human body and which may be entered by means of doors, sliding panels or other device which when closed prevent anyone from opening the same from the inside.
PERSON
Any natural person, firm, copartnership, association or corporation.
It shall be unlawful for any person to abandon, discard or leave unused any refrigerator or container outside of any building so as to be accessible to children, unless the same has been fixed that either it cannot be entered or, if entered, may be reopened from the inside by any child so entering the same.

Any violation of this chapter shall be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article III, General Penalty, of the Code of the Town of Southport.
