The Town Board of the Town of Southport, in
regular session duly convened, does hereby approve an amendment to
the Town of Southport Municipal Code to incorporate Real Property
Tax Law, Chapter 704, providing for an exemption for capital improvements
to property.
The Town Clerk of the Town of Southport be and
she hereby is directed to enter said amendment in the minutes of this
meeting and in the Municipal Code book of the Town of Southport; and
that the Town Clerk give notice of this amendment by publication of
a notice of the same in the Star-Gazette, the official newspaper of
the Town of Southport. The Town Clerk shall then file an affidavit
of such publication in her records.
