In order to expedite the removal of snow and ice and to facilitate
the cleaning of Town highways, the parking of motor vehicles shall
be prohibited on all streets or a portion thereof within the Town
beginning November 1 through April 1 between the hours of 2:00 a.m.
and 7:00 a.m., except as follows:
A. On days
with even numbers according to the calendar, on the side of any street
on which the properties bear even street numbers.
B. On days
with odd numbers according to the calendar, on the side of any street
on which the properties bear odd street numbers.
When any motor vehicle is stopped, standing,
or parked in violation of this article such vehicle may be removed
by the Town Superintendent of Highways.

After removal of any vehicle as provided in
this article, the Town Superintendent of Highways may store such vehicle
in a suitable place at the expense of the owner. Such owner, or person
in charge of the vehicle, may redeem the same upon payment to the
Town Highway Superintendent of the amount of all expenses actually
and necessarily incurred in effecting such removal. Removal charges
and storage charges (per day or fraction thereof) shall not exceed
those as set from time to time by resolution of the Town Board.
The Town Superintendent of Highways shall without
delay report the removal and the disposition of any vehicle removed
as provided in this article to the Police Department and it shall
be the duty of such Police Department to ascertain to the extent possible
the owner of the vehicle or person having same in charge and notify
him of the removal and disposition of such vehicle and of the amount
which will be required to redeem same.

A violation of this article shall be punishable by a fine of
$15.
Nothing contained in this article shall restrict or limit the provisions contained in Article
V, Removal and Storage of Vehicles, of this chapter.

The Highway Superintendent is directed to cause proper posting
of signs giving notice of such prohibition against parking of motor
vehicles as the same is required by § 1683 of the Vehicle
and Traffic Law of the State of New York, and in such form as is provided
in the New York State Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
