Ulster County Community College, heretofore
established pursuant to the Education Law of the State of New York,
shall continue to operate in accordance with all applicable laws of
the State of New York and additionally with applicable provisions
of this Charter. The Board of Trustees shall continue as provided
by law, except that the power of appointment of those Trustees authorized
by state law to be appointed by the local sponsor is transferred to
and shall be exercised by the County Executive, subject to confirmation
by the County Legislature. Members of the Ulster County Community
College Board of Trustees shall receive no compensation for services
rendered but shall be entitled to their reasonable and necessary expenses
incurred in the performance of their duties, within appropriations
made for such purposes.
