GENERAL REFERENCES
Shade trees — See Ch. 174.
A Shade Tree Commission is hereby created in and for the Borough
of North Wales. Said Commission shall consist of five members who
shall be appointed by Borough Council. Each member of the Commission
shall be a resident of the Borough and shall serve without compensation.
Members shall be appointed to staggered five-year terms so that
one term expires every year. On the expiration of the term of any
commissioner, a successor shall be appointed by Borough Council to
serve for a term of five years.
The Commission shall have exclusive custody and control of the shade trees in the Borough. Chapter 174 of the Code of Ordinances further provides for the authority of the Shade Tree Commission and enforcement hereof.
