Section 223-1 shall not apply to parking for the purpose of attending a funeral at any home, funeral home or church abutting on said streets, provided that parking for said purpose shall only be lawful on that side of the street on which the home, funeral home or church in which the funeral is being held is located.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, Article I, for a municipal infraction.
