§ 27-1 Establishment of office.

The Office of Village Justice be and the same hereby is established for the Incorporated Village of Flower Hill in accordance with the provisions of § 3-301 of the Village Law of the State of New York, having the jurisdiction as set forth in the Village Law of the State of New York, § 2402 of the Nassau County Government Law, with the Office of Village Justice having a term as provided in §§ 3-301 and 3-302 of the Village Law of the State of New York, the same to commence on the first day of December 1984.

§ 27-2 Village Justice Court Clerk.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Home Rule Law and Village Law § 3-300, Subdivision 2(a), and notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the Village Justice Court Clerk may reside anywhere within the County of Nassau.

§ 27-3 Other appointed village officers.

Pursuant to the provisions of Village Law § 3-300, Subdivision 2(a), and notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, any appointed village officer may reside anywhere within the County of Nassau.
