E of the 1987 Code; amended at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1,
General Provisions, Art. II)]
The Board of Education shall be empowered to
hire all teachers, repair all schoolhouses and perform any other duties
consistent with the General Statutes.
The Town shall continue to have a seven-member
Board of Education.
The terms of office of the members of the Regional
Board of Education shall be four years. The composition of the Regional
Board of Education shall consist of members from Andover, Hebron and
Marlborough. The number of representatives shall be determined by
the population. Members shall be elected by their respective Towns
in accordance with the General Statutes. Each member shall have one
full vote.
