There shall be an elected five-member Planning
and Zoning Commission serving four-year overlapping terms as provided
for in § 203 of the Town Charter. Vacancies occurring on
the Planning and Zoning Commission shall be filled by the Board of
Selectmen in accordance with § 208 of the Town Charter for
the unexpired portion of the term.
The Town shall provide for the election of three
alternate members to the Planning and Zoning Commission in accordance
with General Statutes § 8-1b, as amended. Each new member
shall serve for four years in the same manner that the regular members
of the Planning and Zoning Commission are elected.
