A. 
The provisions of this chapter shall be administered and enforced by the Zoning Officer.
B. 
It shall be the duty of the Zoning Officer to cause any building plans or premises to be inspected or examined and to order, in writing, the remedying of any conditions found to exist in violation of any provision of this chapter.
C. 
Where inspection discloses any violation of any requirement of this chapter, the Zoning Officer shall immediately issue to the owner or occupant a written order setting forth details of such violation. Copies of all such written orders shall be immediately forwarded to the Council.
A. 
No land, building or structure within the Borough shall be constructed, altered, used or occupied unless such land, building or structure shall conform to the provisions of this chapter and a permit is issued by the Zoning Officer certifying such conformance.
B. 
There is hereby established a zoning review fee of $150. Said fee shall be paid prior to the Zoning Officer's conducting any application review.

There is hereby established a zoning interpretation fee of $200. Said fee shall be paid any time a zoning interpretation is requested of the Zoning Officer prior conducting a zoning application review.
C. 
When it is necessary to obtain permission under the provisions of this chapter from an authority other than the Zoning Officer, no permit shall be issued by the Zoning Officer unless written permission of such other authority is filed with the Zoning Officer.
D. 
Any permit required by the provisions of this chapter may, in the discretion of the Zoning Officer, be in the form of a separate document or included in a building permit or certificate of occupancy which may be issued by the Building Inspector. The form shall be approved by the Council.
E. 
There shall be contained in every permit a designation of the permitted use and a statement of the conditions upon which the issuance of the permit is predicated.
F. 
The Zoning Officer shall render a decision on every application for a permit made to him within 30 days from the filing of the application or within an extension of time not to exceed 60 days; provided, however, that within the first-mentioned thirty-day period, the Zoning Officer shall serve the applicant personally or by certified mail a notice of such extension setting forth the period of the extension. The decision of the Zoning Officer shall be in writing and shall be served upon the applicant either personally or by certified mail.
A. 
It shall be the duty of the Zoning Officer to keep a record of all applications for zoning permits, a record of all permits issued and a record of all certificates of occupancy which he countersigns, together with a notation of all special conditions involved. He shall file and safely keep copies of all plans submitted, and the same shall form a part of the records of his office, and all said records shall be available for the use of the Council and of other officials of the Borough.
B. 
The Zoning Officer shall prepare a monthly report for the Council summarizing for the period since his last previous report all zoning permits issued, certificates countersigned by him and all complaints of violations and the action taken by him thereon. A copy of each such report shall be filed with the Borough Tax Assessor, Tax Collector, Council, Board of Adjustment and Planning Board.
A. 
For each and every violation of any provision of this chapter, the owner, tenant, partnership, corporation, contractor or other persons interested as general agent, architect, building contractor or any other person who commits, permits, takes part or assists in any violation of this chapter or who maintains any building or structure or use of any land in violation of this chapter shall, for each and every violation, be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article III.

B. 
Each and every day that such violation continues shall be considered a separate and specific violation of this chapter.[1]
