The Mayor, President of Borough Council and the Borough Secretary are
hereby authorized to enter into an agreement between the Borough of Jefferson
and the Borough of Pleasant Hills, as sellers, and the MONONGAHELA VALLEY
WATER CORPORATION and the SOUTH PITTSBURGH WATER COMPANY, as buyers, for the
sale of the water distribution facilities which are presently owned by the
Borough of Jefferson and the Borough of Pleasant Hills pursuant to a decree
of the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania at number 3471
October Term, 1947. A copy of said purchase agreement is on file in the office
of the Borough Secretary, Pleasant Hills Municipal Building, 410 East Bruceton
Road, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and said purchase agreement may be inspected
there during regular business hours.
The Mayor of the Borough of Pleasant Hills, the President of Council
and the Borough Secretary are further authorized and empowered to enter into
and sign any documents, warranties, agreements, deeds, easements, rights-of-way
or any other document or certificate which may be necessary to implement or
consummate the purchase agreement for the sale of said water distribution
system.
