All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with or inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby
re-pealed, except that this repeal shall not affect or prevent the
prosecution or punishment of any person for any act done or committed
in violation of any ordinance hereby repealed prior to the taking
effect of this ordinance.
If any provision of this ordinance is held invalid
or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion
shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and
such a decision shall not affect the validity of the other provisions
hereof.
This ordinance may be known and cited as the
"Traffic Ordinance."

This ordinance shall take effect immediately
after final passage and publication according to law, and upon approval
by the Department of Transportation.
