Trucks over four tons' gross weight are hereby
excluded from the following street or parts of the street, except
for the pickup and delivery of materials on such street:

Any person convicted of violating any of the
provisions hereof shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding $50 or
by imprisonment in the county jail for a term not exceeding 15 days,
or both, in the discretion of the Judge before whom such conviction
may be had.
