§ 181-1 Definitions.

As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
BOWLING ALLEY
Any single alley or lane used by the public for bowling upon the payment of a fee.

§ 181-2 License required.

Every person shall obtain a license from the Department of Public Safety for each and every bowling lane or alley held out to the public in any business place within the city.

§ 181-3 Application.

Application for a license under this chapter shall be made to the Department of Public Safety upon a form furnished by the city and shall contain such information as may be required by the Director of the Department of Public Safety.

§ 181-4 Fee.

Every person, copartnership, association or corporation owning or operating any bowling alley or lane within the city shall obtain a license for each such alley or lane and shall pay the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25.) for each such lane as an annual license fee from January 1 of each year or for any fractional part of a year.

§ 181-5 Revocation.

The Director of the Department of Public Safety may, for cause shown and after a hearing, revoke any licenses issued under this chapter.
