No person shall sell, keep for sale, store or
keep for decorative purposes any plants, potted plants, cut flowers,
bushes or shrubs in any store, market, room, stand, place or in front
of or adjacent to any store, market, room, stand or place where food
products to be eaten without cooking, such as baked goods, meats,
fruits or vegetables, not in sealed containers, are also held for
sale.
Nothing in this Article shall be interpreted
to interfere with the sale of potted plants, cut flowers, bushes or
shrubs and food products to be eaten without cooking, such as baked
goods, meats, fruits or vegetables, in the same building if the food
products to be eaten without cooking are separated and set apart effectively
from such potted plants, cut flowers, bushes or shrubs, such as in
different rooms or on different floors or, if on the same floor, at
least fifty (50) feet from the food products, and if they are handled
for sale by employees who individually do not handle for sale the
food products to be eaten without cooking.
