The City of Scranton shall continue to be a municipal corporation
under its present name, "City of Scranton". As used in this charter,
the word "City" shall mean the City of Scranton in Lackawanna County,
created pursuant to an Act of the Pennsylvania Legislature on April
23, 1866.
