There is hereby created the office of Property Maintenance Officer of the Borough of Ho-Ho-Kus.
The Mayor shall appoint, with the advice and consent of the Council, a Property Maintenance Officer for a term of one year commencing January 1 and terminating December 31 or the unexpired portion thereof.
The Property Maintenance Officer shall enforce the Property Maintenance Code of the Borough of Ho-Ho-Kus (Chapter 47 of the Code).
The compensation to be paid to the Property Maintenance Officer shall be fixed by the Borough Council from time to time as provided for in the annual Salary Ordinance and implementing resolutions.[1]
